Chrysocolla
Chrysocolla is found in copper mining areas, particularly Chile, the former USSR, and Zaire and Cornwall. In its pure form Chrysocolla is a very soft stone and, because of its attractive blue-green colour, it is often confused with Turquoise.
Amongst Native American Indian Chrysocolla is known as a healing stone. It is used for strengthening the body's resistance and bringing about feelings of calm. It is a stone of peace promoting increased wisdom, discretion and encouraging clarity of thought.
