Bloodstone
Bloodstone, also known as heliotrope, is a dark green chalcedony quartz with red spots created by iron oxides in the stone. Its name relates to a legend where it was said to have first formed when drops of Christ's blood fell grass at the foot of the cross which then solidified into stone.
The bloodstone is used for circulation of all energy in the body and helps to remove energy blocks. Bloodstone relieves stomach and bowel pain, strengthens blood purifying organs, improves blood circulation and has a positive influence on a bladder.
